Testing principle

The source of HPV infection in the reproductive system infects the adjacent urinary system through sexual activities, self-touch, orsecretion transmission. And release their metabolic degradation substances (free sulfhydryl groups) in the urine.

 

Synchronous infections of the reproductive and urinary systems of men and women cause metabolites produced by cytopathic conditions to contaminate urine along with exfoliated cells. Therefore, the gradient changes in the concentration of metabolites in urine are highly consistent with the patient's condition.

 

When HPV virus infection causes cytopathic changes, free sulfhydryl groups are produced and enter the urine along with epithelial cells and exfoliated cells. Free sulfhydryl groups in urine are qualitatively detected by using the principle of sulfhydryl groups reducing sodium tungstate to tungsten blue to produce a blue reaction.
